Dr Rula Alousi is a distinguished educator with an impressive academic background. Throughout her career, Dr Alousi has held several key positions in academia. She has served as the Head of Teaching, Learning, and Assessment at the University of Bolton, and as a Teaching Champion for the School of Business and Management. Her expertise in Business and Technology led her to be appointed as a Professor in these fields. Additionally, she has contributed to the academic community as the Head of Teaching, Learning and Assessments at Regent College London.

Dr Alousi has authored numerous papers and holds the distinction of being the first female of Arab origin to contribute a word definition to the English Oxford Dictionary and the Urban dictionary by defining “Educide”. In 2022, she made history as the first female Arab academic to achieve the (PFHEA) Principal Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy. Additionally, Dr Alousi holds a CMBE and is a member of the British Education Research Association and the World Education Research Association.
